Pressure Sand & Carbon Filters
* Pressure sand filters which employ fluifiltTM technology are generally vertical and cylindrical and are most suitable for removing the suspended solids from water. In this filter, the filtration medium has multiple layer of sand, where each layer has different specific gravity. Pressure sand filters are provided with water pump for generating necessary operating pressure.
* The filter effectively removes suspended solid of size up to 30-50 micron to around 5 ppm. The pressure sand filter requires to be back washed for 20-30 minutes with normal water.
* Activated Carbon Filter: Activated Carbon Filter is also a pressure filter with activated carbon media instead of sand & gravel.
* The A.C Filter is installed to remove free chlorine, odour, colour, oil & grease, organic matter etc. The A.C. Filter is mainly installed with Effluent Treatment Plant, De-mineralized Plant, and Drinking Water Project. All the above-mentioned Pressure Filters are of M.S./PVC construction having frontal pipeline arrangement with nest of valves to operate the plant or with single multi-port Valve.

Dual Media Filters
* Dual media filters are used where the raw water contains suspended particles, turbidity and iron.

Specifications
* one vertical mild steel pressure vessel with dished end, internally painted with epoxy. Mild steel vessel will be given two coats of red oxide primer on the outside.
